We just got two new beers that you've have been asking for, from the Lazy Magnolia brewery in Kiln, MS. Reb Ale is available in 12 ounce bottles. Southern Pecan is in stock in bottles, plus we have it on tap.
Long before Lazy Magnolia, Kiln Mississippi was known as the bootlegging capital of the state. Most people attribute the poularity of Kiln Moonshine to the soft local water and brewing skills of the moonshiners. Lazy Magnolia continues that great brewing tradition but parts ways with the old practices by offering their brews legally. Since the brewery's founding in 2003, their mission has been simple: "We do not tell people what to like, we just give them great choices."
Reb Ale
Reb Ale's dry hop aroma is reminiscent of a walk through southern pine forests on a warm southern day. The crisp malt character is balanced with the spicy aroma of hops to provide a smooth, refreshing finish. The folks at Lazy Magnolia rebelled against style guidelines printed in textbooks and created their own new style: Deep South Pale Ale.
Southern Pecan
Southern Pecan, the Original Pecan Nut Brown Ale, is the first beer in the world made with whole, roasted pecans. Using a careful balance of the finest malts, aromatic hops and roasted pecans, Southern Pecan is delightfully smooth and warm, with a nutty sweetmess that accentuates a delightful depth of flavor.

Maybe it’s something about the water here, and maybe it’s just the smooth toasted flavors in Southern Mississippi pecans, but our pecans help make what we consider to be one of the best beers we have ever tasted. We consider pecans to be a perfect addition to this nut brown ale. Smooth and mild with a malty sweetness accentuated by a rich finish. A finely balanced ale destined to become a southern classic.
